NEW YEAR – NEW CHANGES

As the new year begins, we are excited to announce some new changes that will help us take our efforts to reach the community to the next level. We are proud of the programs we have in place but are always striving to improve and grow so we can continue to identify and reach the needs of our students, families, and community. We are working towards going deeper with our students to establish attainable goals and objectives to help them reach their full potential, and to create safe environments that provide new opportunities to learn and grow. Two new changes that we are excited to share are our Mentorship Program and Hope Farm.

Mentorship Program

We’re excited to announce that we are officially launching our Mentorship Program. We believe it is important for youth to have individuals who are dedicated to helping them navigate life and who can help inspire, equip, and empower our students in order for their dreams to become reality. Our program is an opportunity for adults in the community to come alongside our youth and help hold them accountable through consistent and intentional hangouts. Each student in the program will have curriculum to work through, with the help of his/her mentor, which will help them set personal and academic goals, develop healthy and positive habits, and learn the power of choice and discipline. If you or anyone you know is interested in becoming a mentor, please contact us directly for more information.

The Hope Farm

It’s official! Hope Global has been blessed with a new opportunity and endeavor with the acquisition of  272 acre farm in Milledgeville, Georgia. This new adventure will be known as “The Hope Farm” and we are so thrilled that that this dream has become a reality. We are so grateful for the opportunity this property will provide for our students and the community. Our dream is that it would be a sanctuary for all who need it; a place to getaway and be refreshed and restored. With the desire to see their legacy continued and the lives of young people transformed, Jack and Shirley (pictured below with our CEO and Executive Director) wanted to partner with us through our purchase of their family property. This dream would not be possible without their partnership and we are so grateful for them and their belief in our cause. Along with being a place for rest and rejuvenation, The Hope Farm will be a place where we can continue our outdoor therapy programs with our students with the goal of getting kids outside to learn new skills and the power of working hard to accomplish goals together. Keep an eye out for more information and updates as we see transformation and new possibilities for The Hope Farm!
