It is the most wonderful time of the year and this Christmas season felt extra special at The Hope Center. Every day we worked on Christmas crafts that we used to decorate the center and also some for the students to take home. Each time we worked on a project, we would use the opportunity to discuss the true meaning of Christmas and how to spread holiday cheer to those who need it. The students loved listening to Christmas music while we worked in the art room, and really enjoyed having a nice cup of hot chocolate for snack time. The holiday season can be full of a lot of emotions, but we were able to have a joyous atmosphere where the kids could enjoy the holiday season carefree and in a fun, safe environment.
