That’s a Wrap on the Duplex!
THE NEW DUPLEX IS COMPLETE AND TENANTS HAVE MOVED IN!
Our Housing Initiative focus has been on completing a duplex in the center of our community to provide affordable housing for single mothers and elderly in the community. We are so excited to that we were able to host a dedication for the completion of this amazing project. It was inspiring to see a vision come into fruition through hard work and people coming together to accomplish a unified goal.
Last summer we began this important Housing Initiative project to help our community that has suffered from a major housing shortage since an F4 tornado left so many devastated in 2021. This housing initiative was about creating new safe, sanitary, and affordable living options. Everyone deserves a safe place to call home and we could not have done it without our partnership with Square Foot Ministry and countless other volunteers and contributors.
We believe that having a great place to call home is imperative to a good quality of life. One day at a time, one project at a time, we believe we can transform our neighborhood and restore HOPE to those who need it most.
