Fun at the Fair
One of our favorite traditions during the fall semester is the Coweta County Kiwanis Fair. The fair is sponsored by the local Kiwanis Club and provides not only an opportunity for fun, but for giving back to the community. Proceeds from the fair allow the club to contribute funds back into the community by supporting local organizations, and we are honored to be a part of their mission. Every year it is a wonderful event that allows us to get kids outside trying new experiences.
RIDES, ANIMALS & FUN
Fair 2025 was another success and we were able to take multiple groups of students from our Mentorship program. From trying new foods, facing fears on extreme rides, and stepping outside of their comfort zones with animal encounters, each student outing was full of fun. These types of trips are simple yet so impactful because of the bonding moments that are created from trying new things together. Regardless if its having a funnel cake for the first time or holding a snake, when you live life together you are creating bonds that lead to empowering opportunities. We will always look forward to the fair and every moment we get to see the inspiring smiles on our students. Until next year!
