PUMPKINS &  GOOD WEATHER

Fall is a special time of year full of traditions and beautiful days. This fall we have been enjoying our days at The Hope  Center with outdoor games and activities. Dodgeball, hopscotch, basketball, soccer, and jump rope are a just a few of the games all the students enjoy and we love keeping them active and full of sunshine. This time of year also includes fun art projects and lots of homework and school projects. Overall, we are continuing to see the progress and empowerment in our students by doing life together, having a fun and safe place to hang out, and consistently being there to challenge each other to try new things.

Pumpkin Painting

Our most beloved fall tradition is painting pumpkins in the Art Room. This is something that we have done every year since the Hope Center has been open and it gives the students something to look forward. Traditions are important because they create a positive pathway that links each other through activities and seasons. It may seem like a simple art project, but to our students it reenforces them that we are here to continue making memories together and that creates a sense of security and safety at The Hope Center. An added bonus is how creative they get each year and the silly and fun ideas they come up with. As you can see, their smiles are always worth it.

Each season is special and provides different opportunities to get involved. If you want to be a part of this season,  DONATE  or CONTACT us today!
