Dewey Street Clean-Up
Recently, we were able to find another opportunity to spread a little hope in our city. A resident of Dewey Street, Newnan Georgia, brought his concerns to us about a neighboring abandoned house that was in desperate need of a clean-up. This resident informed our team that the house down the street was boarded up and covered in trash. This property had become a problem by being a constant eye-sore and discouragement to the neighborhood. On November 10th, 2017 we were able to find a group of young men to come and clean up the yard on Dewey street. It was a simple task, but that does not make it small. It was important to the man that has to look at that yard every day, which made it important to us. He can now walk down his street every day and see that someone out there heard him, cared about his concerns, and took action to bring him and his community hope.
Our desire is to find every opportunity to share hope, kindness, and respect to those who feel like they have lost it. We want to inspire, equip, and empower the people of our community with the tools that they need to continue to spread hope. We never know what opportunity will arise to share our message, but if you would like to be a part of the next one, please contact us!
